Yummy

appalachian grown!

I’ve been henna’ing lately. My hair, my skin, other peoples skin. This is the logo for locally grown veggies here, and I put it on Possum.

I’m south. South east, I mean. I’ve never been here before. It’s hot and humid. People are friendly and a little different than I’ve ever been around.

Tonight I’m going to go (try to) work. The “good” club doesn’t let new girls start during the begining of the week, so I’m gonna go to a club that I assume will instantly hire me. I’m hopeful for southern gentlemen, but slightly suspect of southern NASCAR loving, cocaine snorting good ol’ boys. It could go either way, I guess. I’ll report back.

Now I’m off to take a shower and shave off everything I’ve accumulated in the last couple months. 🙁

  1. I think I LOVE you. 🙂

I’m a fan of Susun Weed, dirty hippie happy soul – and you rock, and this blog rocks. I added your feed, and I think I’ll have a lot to read on!!

Have a blessed day, and a smooth path.

  2. I came by your blog thru Rosie’s and love it! If you are ever in Fayetteville, NC area (big army base here)you have a place to park your van and stay. Promise not to wake you up to milk the goats. 🙂

  3. How far south is “South”?

I’m so far south that most don’t consider us “south” anymore.

Should you happen to wander to the Tampa Bay area (where there are strip clubs galore) shoot me an email & I’ll cook you some dinner some night.

  4. Oh man, that’s my favorite chocolate! I am so jealous right now!

    So.

    Jealous.

Probably because I just ran out of chocolate myself.

  5. Wow! Ok, not to sound weird, but where are you? I am in the southern Apps, and would love to meet up. I haven’t rang in much on your blog, but I am pagan, into herbs, natural healing, and all around good vibes.

If you don’t want to disclose your location, I understand. I will just tell you I am in Asheville, NC, and if you are anywhere around let me know, it would be an honor to meet you.

Also, almost done with Ishmael. Been technically reading it for 2 months, becuase it is about the best damn story I have read since some of the oldschool goodies, like Jonathan Livingston Seagull, or some of the old Don Quixote, or even some of the Peaceful Warrior books by Dan Millman.

Peace, sister, let me know if you are around.

    😉

  6. It’s so funny, in a soul-connection kinda way, that you bought the typical Swiss chocolate that they have in every supermarket here. My dad really loves the dark one and I bring him some everytime I visit my parents. It’s actually so dark that even my mum, with her light diabetes, can have a square or two.
It’s just a funny feeling seeing those exact same chocolates in your van. The world is a small place indeed.
I hope you enjoy them! And should I ever meet you, I will make sure to bring you some chocolate. Maybe the white one with almonds… that’s my favourite (and actually the only one I eat).

  7. Hey…longtime reader/lurker, first time commenter. If you’re in NC, the furniture market is in High Point. Get thee to Greensboro, where there are plenty of clubs that should be packed with executive types. Then, I hear that the clubs in the Myrtle Beach area are good. There’s also Virginia Beach; I don’t know about the money there, but I know that there are plenty of clubs.

  8. My wife and I are in Greensboro, so if you’re planning on heading a little further east and want a place to shower/park you’re welcome to stop by. 🙂
