  1. And that just goes to prove that there is no difference between the fucking Republicans and Democrats.

John Kerry being the typical politician, he is does nothing to stop the police, but instead continues to talk out of his ass. I still can’t believe on the high profile leftists of the States abandoned Nader for this douche.
    🙄

  2. The guy deserved to be tased. He was clearly resisting arrest. You should have had a link to the Habeas Corpus bill not being passed, that would have been a better example.

  3. Both sides are a bit to blame on this one:

    1) Kerry and the GOP, and Bush and the Dems = one and the same. I’ll never cry a river for eitehr party again. It’s all power and central govt run amok with both parties now.

    2) Yet, this guy crossed a line and could have EASILY avoided getting tased. I think he wanted to get tased because he wanted the attention -he was walking around afterwards and he will be fine. If I didn’t know better (and I don’t) I’ll bet the whole thing was a set-up.

As for the habeas corpus bill, don’t get too upset. Abe Lincoln suspended it for an entire state in 1862, and threatened to arrest a Supreme Court Justice as well. Here’s your link for proof -> http://teachingamericanhistory.org/library/index.asp?document=425

Bush is a poor leader – but no mention of habeas corpus can be tossed out without mention of Honest Abe’s legacy either. Bush doesn’t need that to black mark his run as president, but he shouldn’t be saddled with a habeas corpus slam without historical precedent to contrast it.
